1/ RING SIZE
You will be asked to enter the ring size once you click on add to cart. Please click on the video to learn how to correctly measure a ring size. If you would like to surprise your partner with an engagement ring, the easiest way to determine their ring size is to measure a ring they already wear. Start by identifying a ring that your partner wears on their ring finger as each finger has a different size. Once you have identified that ring, either have it measured by us or another jeweller near you. Alternatively you can order a “Ring Mandrel” such as THIS ONE. For further instructions please consult this video. If however your partner does not wear rings then please get in touch and we’ll be happy to advise about your options. If in turn your partner is involved in choosing their engagement ring, please consult our sizing page for instructions on how to best determine their ring size. Also if you dont get it just right, one ring size change of +/- 2 ring sizes is included in your purchase.
2/ DIAMOND SIZE
Knowing your partners ring size is a great starting point to determine the perfect diamond size for them. Remember it’s not about finding the biggest, but the right size diamond for your partner, so be sure to consider proportions and your partners style. The size of the stone should be proportional to your partners hand. - larger hand = larger stone and vice versa. Take the jewellery they wear into account, if they wear slimmer jewellery, less jewellery or none at all, go for a smaller stone, if she wears more jewellery and has a more extroverted style, go for the bigger stones. In our webshop we offer diamonds up to a size of 0,40ct however engagement rings with larger stones are available upon request.
3/ DIAMOND TYPE & COLOUR
We use diamonds with the clarity VS1 and all our white stones have the colour F or better. Furthermore we only source diamonds with an excellent cut, polish and symmetry as this greatly affects their brilliance. To help you understand these terms, please consult the great resources provided by the International Gemological Institute (IGI) or get in touch, we’d be happy to help.
We offer white lab grown diamonds, as well as natural diamonds in both white and brown colours. Responsible sourcing of our stones is exceptionally important to us. Our natural diamonds are sourced under the Kimberley Process ensuring they are conflict free diamonds. Our lab grown diamonds in turn are produced completely CO2 neutral, by planting trees to compensate for the carbon emissions during production. Lab grown diamonds are just as hard and just as beautiful as natural diamonds. The only difference is in how they are made: lab grown diamonds are man made while natural diamonds were created millions of years ago in the center of the earth.
4/ Gold Colour
The main gold colours are yellow, white and rose gold. Which one to go for is always a matter of personal preference. The best indication of what your partner would like is what jewellery they have worn so far. If they don’t have a clear preference, going with yellow gold is always a safe choice. If you are interested in white gold, please be aware that we specifically use Palladium-White gold which is ever so slightly darker than classical rhodium plated white gold. In turn this special white gold will never change colour. Finally, we love to use 14kt. gold as this alloy provides more subtle colours than 18kt. gold. Furthermore 14kt. alloys are harder making your ring even more resilient. All our rings are individually crafted so if you are interested in a different gold colour or 18kt. All our engagement rings are made by us in Vienna, Austria. As opposed to mass produced rings, which feature one ring shank in fixed dimensions with different size stones soldered on ring settings, our ring shanks are always proportionally adapted to the chosen stone (larger stone = wider ring). Each ring is first designed on the computer and then 3D printed in a special kind of wax. We then make a mould out of this wax piece using plaster. This mould is then filled with the gold alloy of your choice using a process called lost wax casting. The resulting ring is then hand finished in several stages and finally your chosen diamond is set in the piece. While this is a labour intensive process, it guarantees a both beautiful and extremely durable engagement ring.

The production of each ring will take 6-8 weeks depending on the amount of orders we are currently working on. If you need the ring by a certain date, please get in touch in advance and we would be happy to give you a more exact time estimation, based on our current production calendar.

Sustainable production and sourcing is exceptionally important to us. All our pieces are crafted using recycled gold and either kimberley process certified natural diamonds, or CO2 neutral lab grown diamonds. We produce everything locally here in Vienna and put a lot of care and love into each piece that leaves our atelier.

You will receive your order in a neutral delivery parcel with no logos on it. The ring itself will be packaged in a beautiful, wooden, hand made ring box perfect for presenting. We also provide you with a little bag to carry the ring in more discretely for your proposal. To ensure a perfect surprise, we recommend having the piece delivered to your place of work, a friends or family members home or somewhere else your partner does not have access to

Each ring comes with a free of charge lifetime service. While these rings are a lot more durable than your average engagement ring, they are not indestructible. We recommend that you have your ring serviced every 3-5 years to ensure that they will provide joy to many generations to come. Most probably if you dont have the ring services as regularly you will never have a problem with it, however it is advised to have the ring serviced none the less to be sure.

Diamonds are by far the hardest gem stone and as such are the perfect stone for jewellery you wear every day. As a general rule of thumb it is best to use the “last on, first off” principle. As in put on your jewellery on last after putting on your clothes and at the end of the day take it off before your take off any of your clothes. Hand creams and dirt can leave your diamond looking a little dull. We recommend that you clean your diamond using warm water, and some neutral detergent to ensure it continues to sparkle. For a perfect finish, use our cleaning kit which can be found in our online shop.

You have the right to return or exchange the goods within fourteen days without giving any reason. In order to be eligible for return or exchange, pieces may be tried on but not worn. Pieces which show signs of wear will not be refunded and returned to the sender at their own cost. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the goods were delivered. Unless the product ist defective, all of the return or exchange shipping costs must be covered by the customer.
In case of a defective product we will refund the purchase price and cover the return costs. In any other case, such as an exchange for a different model or size, the return shipment is to be fully insured and the costs of shipment to be covered by the buyer.
